They are the Fairest of them all!

I can hardly believe that its nearly August. And of course, when there is a new month, there are new magazine covers. And ELLE and Vanity Fair pulled it out of the bag with these two stunning September covers. Emily Blunt for ELLE and Lady Gaga for Vanity Fair.

How amazing does the newlywed Emily Blunt look in all lace? I just love this cover so much. I equally love Lady Gaga on the cover of Vanity Fair. It is so refreshing to see her sporting the minimal, fresh faced look (fresh face for Gaga!), instead of the usual over-the-top look. She looks beautiful.

Two amazing covers, but which is your favourite? I am going to sit on the fence and say I love them both....ehhh because I truly do!!

Don't worry, everything will be O'T'K.

Abbreviations are great, aren't they? They serve many purposes. Some good, some bad. Like when you are texting and you a). don't have enough credit or b). are too lazy to spell out the correct word, its okay, just abbreviate. However, despite these positives, a negative of abbreviations is the fact that they can confuse you.

'OMG, like WTF, HM (help me), I can't find ANYT (anything) to wear for 2MOR....nah, only JK (joking), I found SMTHG (something). LOL (LAUGH OUT LOUD!!)'. I would never actually abbreviate to this extent, because not only would I confuse the poor person on the other end of the phone, but I would confuse myself when reading back over the text.

I'll let you in on a secret....for quite some time, I genuinely thought that LOL meant 'Lots of Love' instead of 'Laugh out Loud'. I was so confused when seeing texts sent by friends, and I saw LOL stuck in the middle of a sentence. 'What in the name of God are they on about?'. When I found out the 'true' meaning of LOL, I felt quite stupid! The moral of this secret is the fact that I am crap at abbreviating and abbreviations themselves.

Anyway, there is a point to my jibber-jabbering! OTK! Know what that means? Over-the-knee. Over-the-knee socks to be precise. I have never worn this type of sock before (apart from when I HAD to wear them in school). But with the Irish summer acting like a moody person (as in, one day it is sunny, the next lashing rain & windy), I need something to cover my oh-so-white legs when it is horrible out there.

Tights won't do because despite the rain and so on, its actually humid and sticky. So, these socks are a perfect alternative! I would wear mine with a simple dress and ballet flats. I actually really, really want a pair now! They are a brilliant transition going from bare-leg to half-a-covered leg as we go into Autumn-Winter.

What way do you like to wear your OTK's? Or if you don't have any, will you be buying?

I'll have my hair like that, please!

I have spotted this hairstyle on a few celebrities and in some editorials recently. It is like a glamourous version of the top knot which has been the 'up-do' of the year. Matched with heavy eye make-up, this definitely has a 60s feel to it. Think Mad Men.

I would love to be able to do my hair like this, but I know with my mad, Lioness hair, it wouldn't be a great success. Nevertheless, I will try, but ......

Anyway, what do you think of this glamourous, sexy hair-style? Will you be trying it out?

Red & Black=.......It's up to you!

Does this Giambattista Valli dress remind you of someone and other dresses? How about Anna Dello Russo in her see-through Dolce and Gabbana dresses.

Sometimes Jessica Biel plays it safe on the red carpet, but this sheer red dress is anything but safe. She has the body for this dress, so she works it.  And I actually really like it!

What do you think?

I love her make-up & her hair and paired with the dress, she looks sassy. She might match the red carpet, but Jessica Biel makes a statement at the UK premiere of the A Team.

The Saints come M-m-m-m-marchin' on a Monday.

Lets start the Monday with a poem...why?
'Cause it ain't Sunday, nor is it a Fun-day!
Need some cheerin'?
I plead you to keep readin'!

This weekend saw a multitude of celebs,
all dressed up, definitely not like plebs.
Some in even similar fashions.
The Battle of the Balenciaga's,
of Versace, of the Vintage-esque Blouse
and the lady-like look.
Ooooh, four toughies...

I'm sold over Cat Deeley with her Balenciaga,
Angelina Jolie vs. January Jones in Versace...
has to be Angie!
Rachel Bilson gets my Vintage-esque Blouse sale &
Camilla Belle looks like the perfect Lady in my eyes.

So, who sells it for you?
Kim Kardashian vs. Cat Deeley?
January Jones vs. Angelina Jolie?
Angelina Jolie vs. Camilla Belle?
Natalie Portman vs. Rachel Bilson?
Do I hear a Sale coming on?

Have a Fantastic, Sunny Monday!

Back with a Bang!

I haven't seen Mischa Barton looking really nice in ages, so I felt she definitely deserves the Post space in this dress. It is a really unique dress, but she pulls it off as she attended the launch of Marc Jacobs new fragrance 'Bang', last night. Whats more I adore her Chanel bag. Good job Mischa! Hopefully, she will keep it up...

What do you think of this look?

Its Friday again...have an amazing weekend!

Also, thanks Tuesdai and Elizabeth Faraday for giving me blog awards. Thank you Ladies!!:)

I always wanted to be Posh Spice, but I was more Baby.

Seeing how the t-shirt is now meant to be worn, reminds me of my self a good few years ago. And not in a good way! Let me tell you a story... one Christmas when I was about 13 years old, I received several gifts (as you do!) and one of those gifts was a tracksuit. Not any kind of tracksuit though...this was special (in such a bad way!). It was baby pink, and the top that came with it was meant to be worn like the brown top in the street style picture.

Of course, I was delighted! Of course, I wore the top like that, but I certainly did NOT have the cool-ness to pull it off. Of course, I had to wear some sort of shoes, but don't worry, Santa had that sorted also. Another gift was a pair of baby pink (just to carry on the theme), sparkly Sketchers. If I wasn't excited by the tracksuit, I was positively drooling over the Sketchers. OH MY GOD, I am going to look so cool in all of this (that is my deluded/ innocent 13 year old self speaking). But, of course I didn't look cool. With my untamed/ never heard of GHD hair, I looked like a very baby pink sight. I genuinely thought I looked fabulous though.

But hey, that's what the teens are for aren't they? Making Fashion mistakes.......but now I'm 22, I still make them!

But that will not stop me from wearing the t-shirt this way again. Perfect for both the Summer and the Autumn Winter Season (add more layers), the t-shirt this way is ideal. They are casual, so I decided to add a touch of Glamour with statement necklaces.

Would you wear the t-shirt this way? Don't you just love those necklaces?

Belle is the new Leger.....

Ever since Victoria Beckham was shown wearing this Herve Leger dress in 2007, it (being the dress) became renowned throughout the World. All of a sudden, every female celebrity loved putting on these dresses to show off their curves. And yes, whilst they are very figure hugging and sexy, after three years of constantly seeing them on the red carpet, I am fairly sick of the sight of them. And last night at various events was no exception. I spotted at least three celebrities wearing the dress, AnnaLynne McCord being one.

I am just tired of seeing how they are styled by celebrities or excuse me, by their stylists. Variety is the spice of life and so on, so I really wish they would change it up a bit.

What are your thoughts on the Herve Leger dress and how celebrities wear it?

I saw Camilla Belle looking beautiful and sexy in a demure way in her floaty, not too tight, but just right dress at the premiere of 'The Dry Land' last night and I rejoiced (well, rejoiced is a bit over the top) that she wasn't wearing 'that' dress. The detailing on this dress is exquisite, I love it!

Does Camilla Belle ever get it wrong?

The Allies go to battle once more...

One of the official definitions of Vogue is popular acceptance. Freja Beha Erichsen lives up to the definition of popular, as she is the cover-girl of not one, but two Vogue covers. Vogue UK which was released last week and Vogue Paris which has just been released.

It is the ultimate match, but which cover do you think is more En Vogue?

I have to say, I much prefer Vogue Paris to Vogue UK. Its just more interesting and I love the styling and her face is full of expression.

I hope ye all have an amazing weekend!

100 cents makes up €1.....that's a lot of coins!

I love coin purses, (can you sense a 'but' coming on? Here goes...) but coin purses do not like me. I am awkward and I get flustered easy, so put those with a coin purse and all you will end up with is a match made in hell, definitely not heaven. I get slightly panicky if a salesperson hands me loads of small coins.
Salesperson: 'Sorry, we only have small change left'
Me: 'Oh right, (Oh my God) ehhhh that's fine (absolutely not fine at all).

I end up usually dumping all the small change in my bag, whereby I am left fishing it out later on. But (don't you just love the word but?) I want to play pretend. Lets pretend I am cool, calm and totally efficient and the prospect of getting loads of coins makes me happy...why? Because I have a coin purse. That's why! In fact, if I was this other person, I would ask for small coins, just to fill the coin purse.

In reality, I got a coin purse once for Christmas. I was delighted at first, but too soon it sat forlornly in the corner of my bag. I used and abused it by dumping all my heavy duty stuff (as in a bottle of water and my wallet full of coins, that should have been in the coin purse!) on top of it. Where is coin purse now? I have no idea!!

However, I still fancy the idea of having a coin purse, so I couldn't resist picking out a few of my favourites.

Do you have a coin purse? Or what style purse do you have?

1. Louis Vuitton €400 louisvuitton.com
2. Bracelet/ Purse Topshop £12
3. Coin Pures, Accessorize £4.50
4. Coin Purse, Forever 21 $3.80
5. Coin Purse, Longchamp- longchamp.com
6. Coin Purse, Hello Kitty $3.95 sanrio.com
7. Coin Purse, Accessorize £8
8. Coin Purse, New Look £8
9. Coin Purse, Coach $42

Léim Ard!

Sometimes, all I want to do is blast on 'Jump Around' and just ehhhhhh... jump around. Despite the song being ancient, its brilliant for getting a party going, it also makes me smile. So, when I saw these ad campaign's and editorials, I couldn't help myself by putting fashion and 'Jump Around' together, to make what I call 'Jump Fashion'. (I'm sorry for the lame-ness!)

Hope ye have a Wednesday full of Jumping Around!

Get off the Catwalk!

I am obsessed!
Yes, that's right, not possessed,
but obsessed.
I hear you ask what over?

One City & two French words...Paris Haute Couture.
Despite the shows being over,
I just can't get over them!
Just for fun, I picked three trends,
that you can wear, even if there is no sun.
That you can buy immediately, no waitin', no impatience.

Shoes inspired by Dior, being the first.
These flower shoes definitely aren't thirsty,
they are blooming.
How I swoon over them!

Velvet inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier being the 2nd.
Despite detesting the touch of velvet,
let me gest, these are too good to be true.

Maxi & Mini...what are they?
Its Midi's time to shine.
Chanel-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o!

Would you wear any of these Haute Couture trends?

There is always something....

Two actors, one reality TV star, two designers....who looked better?

VALENTINO

Claire Danes?

Jessica Alba?

Claire Danes?

HUGO BOSS

Olivia Palermo?

Jessica Alba?

Without a doubt, the three main stars who shone at the fashion shows and awards ceremony were Jessica Alba, Claire Danes and Olivia Palermo. The designer who shone? Valentino, in my opinion.

Which star in which brand do you like best?

My favourite has to be Jessica Alba for Valentino and Jessica Alba for Hugo Boss.
